Robust Probabilistic Beamforming for Multicell-Cognitive Radio Networks

This paper investigates the robust downlink probabilistic beamforming problem under a scenario that there is a multi-cell secondary network operate within the service range of a primary network (cognitive radio network). We design robust beamformers for two different channel uncertainty models. Specifically we consider stochastic in both channel gain and covariance. We consider the robust beamforming design problem that minimizes sum of transmission power subject to probabilistic signal to interference plus noise ratio (SINR) constraints of secondary network and interference power of primary network. We use the semidefinite relaxation technique (SDR) to handle our problem , so that it can be efficiently solved by the numerical solver package YALMIP. Eventually simulation results are presented to evaluate our methods.
