A solution to reduce nonlinear distortions of power amplifiers is using of linearization techniques. A new digital lookup table adaptive pre-distortion technique for power amplifier linearization is presented. The system is designed to satisfy 3G power amplifier specifications. This approach uses a multi-port receiver at linearization loop in place of a classic heterodyne receiver. The five-port receiver is implemented by use of the passive microwave circuits and detector diodes. This structure introduces a low-cost, low complexity and high performance linear power amplifier for wireless applications. The performance of the proposed structure is analyzed by measurement and simulation results.
