If you have received the paper acceptance email from IST’2014 TPC chair, please use this authors instructions to prepare your final camera ready paper and copyright file. In this procedure, there is no difference between oral and poster papers

To present your paper and for consideration of its inclusion in the Proceedings of IST’2014, you need to correct your manuscript based on the reviewers' comments.

Formatting Instructions
Formatting checks are enforced in the submission phase for final manuscripts. Please allow extra time to fix any formatting errors and use PDF eXpress to generate a compliant file. Your final paper is planned to be included in IEEE Xplore. However, IEEE reserves the right to exclude an acceptance paper from inclusion in IEEE, if it is not presented at the conference or it does not meet IEEE’s quality standards.. Please follow the following steps to finalize the camera ready version of your paper:

  1. Prepare in the IEEE double-column format using IEEE Manuscript Templates for Conference Proceedings available in IEEE Template for Conferences.
    • Do not add any page numbering, header or footer (other than the copyright info and symposium title discussed below).
  2. Insert an appropriate copyright clearance code notice is to appear on the bottom of the first page of your paper according to the guidelines set forth in the Cataloging/Copyright Instructions for an IEEE Conference Proceeding.
    • For papers in which all authors are employed by the US government, the copyright notice is: U.S. Government work not protected by U.S. copyright.

      • Latex users can add following lines just before begin{document} for the copyright notice to show up (shown below as an example for the third case above):
        • IEEEoverridecommandlockouts
          IEEEpubid{makebox[columnwidth]{ 978-1-4799-5359-2/14/$31.00~copyright~2014 IEEE hfill} hspace{columnsep}makebox[columnwidth]{ }}
      • MSWord users can use: ‘Insert’ -> ‘Text box’, insert the appropriate copyright notice in the textbox, and place the box (without border) at the bottom left corner on the first page.
    • Detailed information on IEEE copyright policy and instructions for authors can be found at:
      http://www.ieee.org/publications_standards/publications/rights/index.html
  3. Insert the IST’2014 title, in a way similar to that explained above for insertion of the copyright clearance code. The title is:
    2014 7th International Symposium on Telecommunications (IST'2014)
    It should be inserted at the top left corner on the first page only.
